This is the best vent mount bracket

After doing some research, most reviews said this one locked on to the vent louver much better because of the spring loaded mount. I bought one off ebay and it mounted very well and mounts in snug because of it being spring loaded. So I would highly recommend this mount over the non-spring loaded mount. And also the mounting ball part does swivel for better viewing. It does take two hands to take it off the vent. Two hands to pull the springs back to wiggle it out of the vent. Maybe a third hand could be needed if you have smaller (louvers are closer together) vent louver opening.
Good enough.

First, I was concerned that the page title of this product didn't say "360" for my Nuvi 360 but in the description it did say Nuvi 360. Well, it works great. The springs that are on it actually push toward the vent and creates a tighter grip. However, if you're driving down dirt roads, or off road, this would NOT make a better option. The vibration is minimal since most paved roads are reasonably smooth..though, I suppose that depends on how well this device fits on your vent. The ball joint allows for tighter gripping of the unit to prevent movement, allowing you to point the GPS directly at you without worrying about it falling down.
I drive a Volkswagen Passat (2004) and it fits just fine. Though it does look bigger in the picture than it really is.
Best vent mount out there

I used the vent mount without the springs for about 9 months and was always frustrated that it moved whenever I tapped the screen. This one has springs and is MUCH more secure. It also has a lockable swivel joint so you can angle it towards you. I'm very happy with it. This is definitely the one to buy...
Great Mount - Truly Removable

I unfortunately ordered a vent mount for my Garmin Nuvi 550 from Costco, which said it was removable. The "tweezer" arms that attach to the vent would be VERY difficult to remove without damaging the vent. Also, mine didn't come with a Garmin attachment, so wouldn't have worked anyway.
Returned Costco one and did some searching on Amazon to find this one. I am so happy to find this as the spring-loaded arms are easily removable. Sits about three inches away from the vent and though lower than dash height, is easy to see. I am using this to replace the expensive Garmin beanbag mount that goes flying when you make any turns from a traffic light. (96 Honda Accord) In my estimation, that's far more dangerous than attaching to windshield with a suction cup (banned in California) and I don't have a flat place on the dash to attach the disk for the suction cup mount.
This mount is a winner!
Great

Can't beat this product. Easy to install. Does not appear that this would hold my gps in place but it does. A great solution for less than $10 including shipping. I ordered product on 2/6 and received it 2/10. That was really fast.
