Don’t let the velcro touch the rest of the suit!!! Got this for my 4yr old who loves superheroes and has several other costumes already — I was expecting about the same style fit/finish,but was a little disappointed. First thing to watch out for is the velcro; DO NOT LET THE VELCOR TOUCH THE COSTUME! The ‘hook’ part of the velcro on the back will stick to the costume fabiric and cannot be removed without creating pulls in the fabric. Best bet is to use a loose piece of ‘loop’-side velcro to cover it while the child takes it on/off, otherwise it will be destroyed quickly. The other issue is that the shoulder muscles don’t start at the top of the arm–this is not due to my son’s size, the stitching for the top of the shoulder muscle starts about 2″ below the seam of the shoulder, which gives an odd look. I’m not sure why they did this. All in all, my son is happy to be the flash and it will work for halloween, but the overall quality is lower than most costumes we’ve gotten for him (even compared to a really cheap one we found at…
