Fun!

Reviewer: F. Espinosa,
I would watch people play this game and think how could this be fun? So I gave it a shot once and thought ok, what's the big deal. But my sister wanted to have this game and thought it would be a good family game regardless. So I'm hooked now. Playing in career mode is a blast and I love the battles. This game is a ton of fun and I would recommend this game to anyone that's a kid at heart.
The next best thing to being talented.

The funny thing about this game is that even guitarist love to play it. You'd think they'd just pick up their real guitar, and play.
It's a very fun game with great replay value. The best thing about it is you can play it on any schedule. Play one song before running off to work - Or play all day long on your day off if you want.
Play on easy if you're a light weight - Or kick it up to expert if you really are a button mashing master.
Unlike Rockband this game is much more fun if you don't have four room mates to play with you all the time. If you happen to be living by yourself, and your friends simply refuse to come over anymore.. you can rock out alone if that's your style.
Or there's probably plenty people online someplace on the network who'll play with you though. The set list has good variety containing both classic, and newer bands. Though I love the band choices.. I think I'd have chosen better songs for some of them. For instance Social Distortion got cheated with 'Story Of My Life' they have songs that would've been much more fun to play, and highly appreciated.
The Drop Kick Murphy's have a nice free downloadable song pack though! And I'm very happy to see Dragonforce grab a spot, because they're one of the most fun songs on the game disc.
EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT!

I dont really know what to say on this review, but the simple fact that this game is crazy fun and addicting. The songs are great and i can't wait to download more.
this is definately a must buy for any music fanatic or musician.
I've never played guitar hero 1 and 2, so this is a review based on guitar hero 3 with no comparisons to 1 and 2.

I bought this game a couple of months ago and im completely addicted to it. The music selection is great and the online play is user-friendly and not to mention FREE (unlike the XBOX 360 version). The guitar controller is wireless which is practical, it is also very solid and can definitely take a beating. Overall this is one of the best games around and i highly recommend it for guitar novices and experts alike. The easy levels are a good start even for people who have never touched a guitar and the expert levels are extremely challenging not to mention this game makes anybody look cool strumming away to rock legends' music. so go ahead ROCK ON EVERYONE!
