Great game ! provides great entertainment to kill time

Reviewer: GoodBooks,
lets see, i bought this game when it was on sale which happens rarely, and boy is this game fun. i thought it would be boring, but when i started to play it, it was nice to get high scores, and to play the next levels. the game has 3 different settings to play, i wont say, don't want to ruin the game.
Arcade-style slaughter, endless

This game should be a good pasttime for anyone who finds relaxation in blowing up, chopping, shooting, burning the undead or some combination of the above in an arcade style game because that's all the game is about. Look elsewhere for a story line or character development or mind-blowing images. This game is all about slaughtering poor, innocent little zombies by the dozens or by the hundreds and... it never ends. Zombies come in waves and the only thing they're really afraid of is fire so... you set them on fire and they've got nothing else to lose and they're all on you. But, if you kill burning zombies you get upgraded explosives and you can kill even more.

Sounds boring? Well... it's not for everyone but, at 4.99 it's okay, I suppose for the first half hour of play. The graphics are a little bit on the cheesy side, the animation and the backgrounds aren't approaching first class but it does take some skill to plant explosives, hit the incoming zombies with a baseball bat and see multiples of them flying in the air, home run style or set them on fire and then cut them into pieces with a chainsaw.

That's just about all there is to the game.

I liked the excellent tutorials, 8 (EIGHT) of them, explaining, illustrating and allowing practice on every skill needed to play the game successfully. As I noted already, the graphics would probably be rated as 'average' on a PS2 so they aren't too impressive at all on a PS3 but, then again, I only paid five dollars for this game. If the price goes back up to ten dollars, I would not view it as a worthy purchase.

It's a three star in my book which, on Amazon's star rating scale means "it's Okay".
It's ok, not the best of it's genre

I love this style of game, it's fun to play, it's fun to watch. Crimsonland is the best I've ever played and upon searching it looks like it's free now. Anyway, the multiplayer in this is meh, lighting zombies on fire to up your score multiplier - ok thats cool, the weapons are ok. You're discouraged from switching around as you get more points for sticking with a weapon. I like the style, but the voice acting is repetitive after around 10 minutes. The melee weapons feel like a waste of time, as you take damage as soon as you're close to zombies. Anyway, if you're into the survival genre maybe you'll like to spend time on it.
