Sick Monitor
Review Date: February 10, 2010

Previously i've had a 1080p 21.5" viewsonic lcd and a 16" viewable viewsonic crt. I was initially nervous making the switch to samsung (even tho there is a viewsonic 120 hz lcd) but i am glad i made this choice. This monitor is just lovely. The perfect size, perfect colors, just all around perfect.
:D don't hesitate to buy this bad boy.
only con is i hear there is this new monitor coming out (think its an acer monitor) or rather it just got released and it is 2ms response time 1080p and 120hz
Great Buy

This is without a doubt one of the best purchases i have made in awhile. Nothing like gaming in 1680 resolution with 120hz. If you're and fps gamer trying to get the magic 125 fps , this monitor is a no brainer.
SUMSUNG + NVIDIA 3D = BEST GAMING INVENTION FOR LAST DECADE!!!

This monitor is pure greatness!!!! 120hz, 3D, 22" of pure COLOR!!!! Go into your Monitor settings on your display and see what yours can do - probly not 120hz, probly not 3D, definately doesn't look as clean as this "Specialty Monitor" as Sumsung labels it....NOW purchase this badboy toy and get the REAL DEAL!!! This thing is NOT literally a DEAL at the $399.99 MSRP list price nor is this monitor for the everyday worker doin spreadsheets, or even really the internet browser...this is for the Xtreme Gamer or Programmer for BEST viewing capabilities 2DAY!!!!
BUT with the current offering fom nVidia where you buy a 3D monitor and GTX VidCard and you get the 3D Glasses kit for FREE...HELL YES! I jumped on that band wagon and got the EVGA GTX275 896mb for the FREE 3D Glasses Bundle Deal!!! I'm already runnin' 2x BFG 512mb 9800GT OCX Series in SLi Mode...so I basically got the GTX275 for free in my mind :)!!! (which I will use on next PC build during tax season :) The SLi 9800GT's run the 3D flawless on all my games I have attempted at the 120hz 1680x1050 - UT3, Monkey Island - Launch Screaming Narwhal, Wolfenstein (2009), NFS Series, Age of Mythology!!!!
I needed a new monitor and wanted the 3D Glasses ability, so I had to go with the BEST IN THE BUSINESS!!! After all nVidia did base there 3D off of Samsungs Display here, which was the first "Official 3D Monitor"!!! This is my 3rd Samsung monitor I have owned, the other 2 are still workin on my "older" Gaming rigs!!!! I have 2 other decent brand LCD's, but DO NOT compare to Samsungs quality displays!!!
Only thing bad to say bout this monitor is: I suggest an HDMI input, and Higher Res capability (specifically 1920x1080 for "FULL BluRay TRUEHD")
No Blu-Ray, not HDCP Capable

Just want to let the computing world know that this monitor is not HDCP capable, which means that if you have a Blu-Ray drive on your computer, you will not be able to view Blu-Ray movies on this monitor. Only a few monitors are both 3D and HDCP compliant. I have no other complaints about this monitor. The 3D works just fine and I've had no other issues with it.
Great for 3d, but overpriced otherwise

If you are looking for a monitor to support an Nvidia 3d goggles setup, this is the best monitor available currently. If you are not looking to get 3d goggles running (which requires true 120hz), this is a very overpriced monitor for what you get, larger higher resolution monitors (by Samsung also) are available at a better price. Monitor quality is very good, just overpriced.
