The APDAM3 mount is constructed with 28LBS of 100% High Grade Steel providing a sturdy and reliable mount. The APDAM3's solid wall plate allows for quick and easy installation and will support a wide variety of stud applications up to 17" apart.
The APDAM3 mount will fit the majority of LCD, LED and Plasma Displays up to 63".
Most LCD and Plasma displays 63" and smaller conforms to the VESA Standards.
However, this mount will support most odd sized hole patterns that do not conform to the VESA Standards.

Solid mount - no regrets

Not going to repeat what has already been said, however I will make a few points.
1 - Use at least a 2 foot level (all I have are 4 foot). The built-in level is convenient, however it was off by well over an inch. I never unwrapped the provided torpedo level that was also included. I would do that regardless of the brand.
2 - Get assistance unless you want to do what I done - disassemble the arms to mount it.
I'm sure I am forgetting 1 other, but it escapes me.

I recently bought this Tv wallmount to hang my new 42" Toshiba clearscan 240 LCD. I was admittedly apprehensive about hanging my tv up on the wall, but after reading the reviews on the previous model by Cheetah and hearing the lone review on the newer model of wall mount, I decided to go for the upgraded model.
I am certainly glad that I did! The build quality of this beast of a mount is high, though just like the original mount it's fasteners are somewhat suspect, so I did what other recommended and went out and bought new bolts and jam nuts. (A tiny cost of 45cents for a few heavy duty nuts and bolts)
The assembly was straight forward, instructions easy to follow and it certainly holds up well under even my bodyweight when I tested the strength of it on the wall (didn't budge an inch). The fact that it's rated to hold far more then my tv's 59pounds was certainly a major plus in my mind.
The mounts movements are fluid, easily adjusted and seady when your done positioning it. I've got it hung so that it's positioned in a corner of the room, so as I move around to different area's of the room, such as my gaming desk I just turn it easily to face the desk, or the couch for movies/tv watching.

Cheetah replaced the original mount I ordered (APDAM2B) with this new improved version. Here's my story and review which I posted on the original purchase...
I ordered this mount for a summer home we are remodeling. When it arrived I noticed right away that the TV mounting bracket was not square with the wall bracket. Since I had read that other purchasers had this same problem I called Cheetah to discuss the issue and to make certain they would refund my money if the mount did not perform properly once it was installed to compensate for the out-of-level condition. I also wanted assurances that they would extend their warranty since my contractor was 4 weeks behind and we would not be installing the TV right away.
I was dealing with Adam in their customer service department. Adam could tell that I was apprehensive about the manufacturing flaw in the mount. He quickly informed me that they had a newer generation of the mount that allowed for rotational adjustment of the TV mounting plate and strongly suggested that I exchange the mount for the newer version. I agreed, he sent me a return label and in two days I had the new mount.
The new mount is very similar to the first one - a little lighter, has a built in level plus a separate level and includes every possible piece of hardware for attaching the mount to a wall with 16" studs. I believe the quality to be first rate.
Last week I installed the mount and hung my 42" Vizio LCD TV. It worked perfectly. When I first looked at the mount I thought it might be overkill for my 37 lb. TV, but when you get the TV 20 inches or more from the wall you really need the strength to keep everything steady and sturdy. I would not recommend skimping on size.
Cheetah has surpassed my expectations - especially when you consider the mount was $200 less than Sanus and Omni. I highly recommend this company and in particular their Customer Service person Adam.

This wall mount was easy to mount. It took me about 30 minutes. I did it by myself with no problems. I actually tested my entire body weight on this after I mounted it and it didn't even creek.
It has a huge variety of bolts to use for mounting your TV to the bracket. It VERY easily controls the tilt of the TV. I put an 80lb Vizio 47" on this mount with NO PROBLEMS!!!
It has the ability to twist the TV in order to ensure a level view. Absolutely GREAT value for this superior product.

I bought this mount to hang a 46" Sharp Aquos. This mount worked great! All the included hardware was fine and DID NOT have to buy any additional items. The tilt feature adjustment knobs worked well. The arms are "Ultra Overkill" which is good, I am so confident this will even hold up in a earthquake. You can adjust the unit left & right, in & out, and anything in-between. I would have gladly paid more for this mount considering the "QUALITY". The unit installed in about 1 hour at a leisurely pace.
